Role Overview

The Director, Media Activation oversees all aspects of media activation, including cross-channel platform integration for selected accounts. This role collaborates closely with department heads to foster strong relationships across teams, ensuring innovative, best-practice-compliant, and flawless execution. It plays a key role in driving process improvements and operational efficiency, requiring proven leadership, mentorship, strategic thinking, and extensive media experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee cross-channel planning and activation workflows for active campaigns.
  2. Lead collaboration with media strategy, omnichannel, social, search, and content teams throughout campaign cycles.
  3. Promote collaboration among media services, programmatic, social, and search teams to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
  4. Drive profitability through innovative workload planning, process evolution, and standardization.
  5. Ensure quality control and accurate, efficient campaign execution.
  6. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with online partners for resolution.
  7. Ensure GDPR compliance and adherence to client-specific contractual obligations.
  8. Work with Media Strategy team to translate plans into activation inputs and optimize campaign performance.
  9. Maintain full campaign involvement from planning to measurement.
  10. Manage financial tracking, budget pacing, and reporting.
  11. Mentor and lead the media activation team towards flawless execution.
  12. Participate in strategic projects and improve operational processes.
  13. Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.
Customer & Market Engagement
  1. Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  2. Identify and deliver innovative cross-channel media solutions.
  3. Support RFP responses and client pitches.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and platform evolutions.
  5. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
Management & Leadership
  1. Manage workflow and delegate tasks effectively.
  2. Oversee process adherence and best practices.
  3. Support team training and development.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 9+ years in digital marketing, agency or client-side experience.
  • 5+ years with media planning/execution platforms.
  • 6+ years managing teams.
  • Experience leading processes across multiple teams.
  • Agency knowledge, B2B marketing expertise, and familiarity with digital media landscape.
  • Skills in analytics platforms, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership.
Benefits & Compensation

Flexible remote work, competitive salary ($108,015 - $166,750), benefits, and profit sharing based on company performance. Salary varies by location and experience.
