Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive railroad mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all mechanical department operations ensuring locomotive and railcar availability and reliability.
• Oversee inspections, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of locomotives and railcars.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs; monitor fleet reliability.
