Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher company, seeks a Director of Mass Spectrometry Product Management to own product roadmaps for mass spectrometry platforms and front-end technologies. You will translate customer needs into clear requirements and lead a cross-functional team across R&D, Marketing, and Operations to drive revenue growth and portfolio differentiation.

You will work onsite in Marlborough, MA (USA) or Concord, ON (Canada) and apply the Danaher Business System to deliver disciplined execution,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, engineering, or business field; advanced degree, MBA, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of product management, product development, or related experience, including people leadership in a matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography technologies, workflows, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and lifecycle requirements.
• Proven cross-functional leadership with R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Service, Finance, Legal/IP, Supply Chain, regional teams, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear product vision and roadmap based on customer needs, market opportunities, competitive insight, and SCIEX's technology strategy.
• Lead and develop the product management team with clear priorities, decision rights, operating rhythm, accountability, and disciplined problem solving.
• Translate customer feedback, market insight, workflow needs, and technical inputs into product requirements, value propositions, business cases, and launch plans.
• Use Danaher Business System tools to drive roadmap reviews, product development milestones, launch execution, risk management, visual management, and continuous improvement.
