Job summary

The Farmer’s Dog in NYC is seeking a Director of Marketing Strategy & Planning to be the connective tissue across every pillar of Marketing, unifying spend, priorities, and goals. You’ll partner with Finance to build budgets, assess risk, and ensure every channel is aimed at the same outcomes.

This highly quantitative role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, owning annual and quarterly plans, and leading the end-to-end budget process with rigor and transparency.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in channel marketing analytics, strategic finance, FP&A, or marketing strategy and planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end marketing budget process, including planning, allocation, reprioritization, and reporting.
• Analyze cross-channel investment using CAC, LTV, retention, and ROI to inform media mix.
• Partner with Finance to build annual/quarterly budgets and explain tradeoffs.
• Lead post-mortems and forecasting reviews on major marketing investments.
