Job summary

JLL seeks a Research Director to oversee Atlanta and Southeast market research, building a leading team and delivering insights that differentiate the firm. You will partner with leadership, marketing and client teams to drive research strategy, thought leadership and business development.

You will manage a growing research program, engage with clients and conferences, and ensure research outputs influence decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate or real estate market research experience.
• Strong understanding of macro trends and historical perspective.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in a matrix organization and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive and strategic thinker with ability to lead initiatives.
• Desire to work in a diverse, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the overall strategic research plan for the Atlanta and Southeast regions in alignment with local business leaders and Americas Research.
• Work with business leaders, marketing and communications to develop and implement a plan for local research content and thought leadership development.
• Maintain intimate and extensive knowledge of macro and micro factors affecting the marketplace and position research to benefit the business and clients.
• Expand and improve the research platform, program, output and team skills.
• Client engagement—present analysis and findings on market trends as a JLL expert at conferences and in the media; support accounts from a research perspective.
• Manage research team including hiring, goal setting, performance management and training.
