Job Description

The Director, Manufacturing Channel Development will build KBKG’s national manufacturing sales channel, driving new business, strategic partnerships, and named-account growth. This player-coach will leverage industry relationships and cross-functional resources to build pipeline and scale a repeatable go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the national manufacturing channel strategy.
• Generate new-logo, named-account, and partner-sourced pipeline.
• Lead executive sales conversations and position KBKG’s specialty tax solutions.
• Develop relationships with associations, advisors, CPA firms, private equity groups, and other influencers.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, and technical experts on campaigns, qualification, reporting, and sales enablement.
• Represent KBKG at industry events and develop repeatable channel processes and playbooks.

Requirements

• Current manufacturing industry experience and an established network of executives, advisors, associations, and other influencers.
• Strong B2B business development and consultative selling experience with executive buyers.
• Proven success building qualified pipeline and partner, referral, or influencer relationships.
• Executive presence and ability to communicate complex specialty tax value clearly.
• Ability to build processes, manage accounts and CRM activity, and collaborate across functions in an evolving market.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Prior role in manufacturing-focused business development, consulting, advisory services, accounting, banking, insurance, site selection, economic development, ERP/software, industrial services, or professional services.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
• Experience building a new market, vertical, channel, or partner-led sales motion.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant B2B sales, business development, channel development, professional services sales, consultative selling, or manufacturing-focused commercial experience preferred.
• Manufacturing industry exposure or experience selling into manufacturing companies is strongly preferred.

• Qualified manufacturing meetings, opportunities, and pipeline created.
• Meeting-to-opportunity conversion.
• Closed revenue.
• Active strategic partner relationships.
• Number and quality of warm introductions generated from existing manufacturing relationships.
• Partner meetings created through existing network.
• Manufacturing association or consultant relationships activated.
• Speed to first qualified manufacturing meetings and pipeline creation.
• Market feedback that improves messaging, targeting, service sequencing, and channel execution.

Compensation

The salary for this role is $100,000, with OTE up to approximately $250,000. This role is also expected to be eligible for variable sales incentive compensation tied to individual and channel performance.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
