MSG Entertainment, a leader in live experiences, seeks a Director, Live to own all special-event bookings at our venues. You will identify artists, coordinate with internal teams, manage budgets, and oversee on-site activation, production and post-event wrap-up to ensure client satisfaction and growth.

You will build and maintain relationships with promoters and industry clients, drive strategy and execution, and lead a high-performing team to deliver compelling experiences across MSG venues.

Qualifikationen

• 7-10 years’ experience booking and managing a venue event calendar.
• Extensive knowledge of music, comedy and entertainment genres.
• Extensive knowledge of the artist/agent/manager community.

Aufgaben

• Project manage the entire booking process from ideation to execution.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the special event portfolio.
• Maintain active event files and track estimates, contracts, insurance, ticket sales, and production logistics.
• Stay current on industry trends and translate findings into booking decisions.
• Negotiate artist/event deals with MSGE and legal.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Live, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance and Legal.
• Oversee on-site activations, venue walk-throughs, catering, staffing and production needs.
• Develop and maintain artist/brand relationships and a pipeline of prospective business.
