Qualifications

• 7–10 years of booking or talent-buying experience in major-market venues.
• Extensive relationships with agents, managers, promoters, and industry stakeholders.
• Broad knowledge of music, comedy, and entertainment trends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with agents, managers, and event producers/promoters and internal clients to maximize opportunities for bookings at the Beacon Theatre.
• Project manage tasks from ideation to execution.
• Maintain & update active event files, tracking estimates, contracts, insurance, ticket sales, and production logistics.
• Work cross-functionally with Live bookings team, Marquee Events, Marketing, Partnerships, finance, legal, PR and other internal MSGE stakeholders.
• Facilitate communications between MSGE and Promoters of events, including production-related needs and issues, and sponsor needs.
• Manage post-production wrap-up and coordination, correspondence, etc.
• Develop and maintain high-level artist relationships across all industries; must have deep relationships across all music genres.
• Negotiate artist/event deals with MSGE legal team.
• Manage production costs and maximize event revenue; attend P&L meetings with Facilities and Finance.
• Stay current on industry and marketplace trends; implement programs to optimize workflows.
• Organize meetings (agendas, notes, action items) and follow up to completion.
• Serve as a liaison to cross-functional groups across the company.
• Provide exceptional guest/partner experiences, adhering to appearance/presentation guidelines on-site.
• Compile, author, and edit briefing materials and build presentations as requested.
