Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) seeks a Director, Event Production to lead the execution of live events at MSG venues, including MSG Arena and Radio City Music Hall.

You will liaison between clients and venue departments, manage on-site operations, and help maximize efficiency in a 24/7 live entertainment setting. The role requires 8–10 years of experience in live event production management, knowledge of union and non-union labor, and strong budgeting,

Qualifications

• Experience managing live events from advancement to load-out.
• Knowledge of I.A.T.S.E and I.B.E.W unions and related rules.
• Ability to create and maintain event budgets.
• Proven track record coordinating with clients and venue departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Produce AutoCAD drawings illustrating seating maps for on-sale use.
• Administer event planning with clients and venue stakeholders from advancement to load-out.
• Coordinate staging, lighting, sound, seating, and client staffing.
• Generate and maintain budgets with timely updates and cost tracking.
• Support NYC-based admin and management teams and seek operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with work rules for union and non-union labor.
• Schedule and direct union and non-union labor for daily events.
• Troubleshoot day-of-event issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee load-in and equipment transition to load-out.
• Collaborate with venue GM/AGM to ensure client and guest satisfaction.
