Roadtex Transportation seeks a Director of Line Haul Strategy & Operations to lead the development of line haul strategy, capacity planning, and network optimization across Echo's transportation footprint. You will partner with Operations, Carrier Management, Pricing, Sales, Finance, and Technology to drive profitable growth.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking and execution, with accountability for performance, cost control, and service levels across lanes and markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, managed transportation, or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience using data and analytics to identify opportunities and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Echo's line haul strategy in line with transportation, financial, and customer goals.
• Evaluate freight flows, lane volumes, carrier capacity, and costs to optimize the network.
• Build contingency and capacity strategies for market disruptions and seasonal demands.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve transportation efficiency and profitability.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor line haul performance and accountability.
