Job summary

Morongo Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Construction & Development professional to manage land and building developments, including site pursuit, due diligence, entitlement, design, and construction for projects on and off the Morongo Reservation. This on-site role requires leadership of cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives and deliver high-profile development outcomes.

Qualifications

7–10 years’ experience in a similar Director-level role (Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management).
Experience with Sovereign Nation/Native American Tribes.
Experience in local development, land municipal approvals, and construction.
Experience with CEQA and entitlement processes.

Responsibilities

Develop budgets, define risks and track costs for land, infrastructure, and building construction for build-to-suit and speculative developments.
Lead a team of consultants, contractors and in-house staff to advance projects from inception through completion.
Respond to RFPs by establishing site plans, floor plans, proposed specifications, construction budgets, and schedules.
Establish development meetings with stakeholders to communicate expectations and deliver timely completion.
