Job summary

Morongo Band of Mission Indians is seeking a GIS/Survey Analyst to create, maintain, and analyze geographically referenced data. You will work with GIS and land surveying software to produce maps and exhibits, supporting land projects and boundary determinations.

The role requires a 4-year degree and hands-on GIS experience, with occasional outside work and strong communication skills to convey spatial information to non-GIS staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography or related field and 1+ years of experience in mapping of Right of Ways, Easements, Survey Legal Descriptions, Utilities, and Parcel boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Engage in land-surveying projects and analyze GIS and survey data.
• Produce maps, drawings, and exhibits for projects.
• Plan and resolve problems related to survey functions and data accuracy.
