Job summary

Wonder in New York is seeking a Director of Workforce Planning & Operations Analytics to architect and operate labor systems across IKCs and production environments. You will translate operational data into scalable models, enabling proactive management of forecasting, scheduling, and productivity while reducing complexity and waste.

You will partner with Operations, Ops Excellence, Product, Culinary, Finance and M&A to ensure measurable performance, with near-term ownership of workforce

Qualifications

• 10+ years in workforce planning, operations analytics, or related fields.
• Experience in high‑volume, multi‑unit environments such as restaurants or service operations.
• Proven ownership of labor systems and impact on financial/operational performance.
• Experience building and scaling workforce planning or analytics functions.
• Track record of driving measurable improvements in labor efficiency and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end labor system across IKCs and production environments, including forecasting, capacity planning, labor standards, and scheduling frameworks.
• Drive accountability by aligning forecasted, scheduled, and actual labor; diagnose and close gaps with field teams.
• Embed labor thinking into process design, kitchen layouts, and equipment decisions for scalable performance.
• Own NSO labor readiness and normalization, defining templates, assumptions, and success metrics.
• Lead operational efficiency and labor optimization through redesigns of workflows and processes.
• Define and standardize performance frameworks and business reviews with actionable priorities.
• Design and evolve reporting dashboards and tools for real-time labor and operations visibility.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure labor expectations and measurement for initiatives.
• Drive field adoption of labor systems through training and clear operating routines.
• Lead labor model standardization and integration across brands for scalable growth.
