Job summary

LogicSource, Inc. seeks a Director, Indirect Procurement- IT to own and lead IT category strategy for client engagements. You’ll drive category planning, partner with client teams, and orchestrate sourcing initiatives through a Center of Excellence to deliver measurable savings and value.

This client-facing role requires strategic vision, cross-functional leadership, and a track record of successful negotiations. Hybrid work in a flexible environment with travel to client sites is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in IT category management, strategic sourcing, procurement consulting, or outsourced procurement services.
• Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience owning category strategy and delivering client value.
• Led cross-functional project planning and execution to meet timelines and budgets.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders in matrix environments.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and high-value contract negotiations.
• Excellent diplomacy, consensus-building, and leadership skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset focused on client service and value creation.
• Polished communication and presentation skills; proficient MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience driving organizational change and operational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic IT category leader and advisor for the client.
• Partner with client and functional leaders to translate objectives into category strategies.
• Own development and management of category strategies, spend diagnostics, and risk considerations.
• Lead annual and multi-year category planning with savings targets and timelines.
• Leverage a centralized COE to deliver sourcing events, negotiations, and contracts.
• Provide governance and oversight throughout sourcing and contracting cycles.
• Support negotiations, supplier positioning, and contract structure decisions.
• Track KPIs and communicate progress to clients; identify further value opportunities.
