Job summary

LogicSource in New York, NY, seeks a Director, Indirect Procurement Corporate Services to own category strategy and lead client engagements. You will orchestrate a centralized COE to drive sourcing events, negotiations, and contract outcomes while delivering measurable value.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in category management or procurement consulting, and strong leadership to influence senior stakeholders. Travel to NYC area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement consulting, or outsourced procurement services.
• Proven experience owning category strategy and delivering results in a client-facing or advisory environment.
• Experience in higher education industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own development and ongoing management of category strategies, including market analysis, spend diagnostics, supplier landscape assessments, and risk considerations.
• Lead COE-driven sourcing events, negotiations, and contract execution on behalf of the client.
• Advise clients and translate objectives into actionable category plans and roadmaps.
• Drive value delivery with KPI monitoring, savings targets, and risk mitigation.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
