Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Director, IT & Critical Infrastructure Instructor Development to lead technical training and instructor development across Data Center Operations, Low Voltage/Fiber Optics, and Critical Facilities tracks. You will manage a Manager of Instructional Development & Delivery and drive readiness, coaching, and program launches.

The role requires extensive experience in IT infrastructure, instructional leadership, and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• 8+ years combined experience in IT/critical infrastructure environments.
• 3+ years leading technical training, instructor development, or workforce programs.
• Experience managing and developing instructors or technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with lab-based, equipment-intensive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical training and instructor development across IT/CI pathways.
• Set training standards, processes, and onboarding for instructors.
• Manage and mentor the Manager of Instructional Development & Delivery.
• Oversee lab activities, certifications, Train-the-Trainer, and readiness initiatives.
• Travel nationwide to support instructor training and launch readiness.
