Per Scholas seeks a Critical Infrastructure Learning Specialist to support our National Training Team. You will help translate complex electrical and mechanical systems into structured learning experiences for aspiring data center professionals, onsite in Columbus, OH.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on lab delivery, and trainer support to ensure uptime‑sensitive outcomes. Strong instructional background and industry awareness help learners advance to technician roles.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in data centers as a Critical Facility Engineer/Technician
• 1-3 years of instructional skills teaching technical subjects
• Strong technical background with ability to convey complex topics to learners
• Clear responsiveness to live digital conversations (Zoom) and in-person settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Critical Infrastructure Expert Trainer in delivering instructor-led training for entry- to mid-level roles
• Teach foundational and intermediate concepts in electrical distribution, UPS, and monitoring systems
• Support hands-on labs with electrical panels, monitoring simulations, and safety practices
• Evaluate student troubleshooting using scenario-based diagnostics and checklists
• Maintain LMS records and assist with curriculum updates and lab effectiveness feedback
