Job summary

ShipMonk in Las Vegas, NV or Pittston, PA is seeking a Director of Inventory Quality Control to own network-wide inventory accuracy. You will set strategy, standards, and systems for inbound receiving through reconciliation, leading teams across centers and embedding quality into WMS workflows.

You will drive analytics, daily controls, and root-cause investigations to prevent issues, travel 25–40% across sites, and partner with operations, engineering, and product to scale QC programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in inventory control, quality, or warehouse ops, including multi-site leadership
• Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and reducing shrink
• Deep fluency with WMS, cycle counting, and reconciliation practices
• Strong analytics, dashboards, and data-driven decisions (SQL/BI a plus)
• Experience with lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement
• Leadership style that develops people and builds accountability
• Willingness to travel regularly to fulfillment centers (~25–40%)
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain/ops/engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Own network-wide inventory accuracy and shrink performance across all centers
• Design and standardize inventory QC programs and root-cause frameworks
• Lead and develop multi-site inventory control teams
• Embed quality controls into WMS workflows and automation
• Build real-time inventory health reporting for leadership and merchants
• Run root-cause investigations and drive systemic fixes
• Set inbound quality standards with receiving teams and vendors
• Support merchant-facing teams during inventory escalations and audits
• Champion a culture of accuracy and ownership on the floor
