Job summary

The Thrive Network seeks a Director of Internship Training to lead internship, practicum, and clinical training programs on-site three days per week, with two remote days. You will supervise interns and support staff, manage university partnerships, and ensure training quality while maintaining client care obligations.

Responsibilities include program development, recruitment, evaluation, and ensuring compliance with licensing and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey independent clinical license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), with approved-supervisor status as required by the applicable licensing board.
• Experience supervising interns or pre-licensed clinicians.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned office.

Responsibilities

• Lead internship and practicum programs; set program standards, policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Grow program capacity to 15–20 active interns and monitor intern caseloads; target 8–10 billable hours per intern per week.
• Provide direct clinical supervision to interns and supervise staff; coordinate supervision assignments and address concerns.
• Recruitment and placement: build relationships with colleges and universities and interview/select interns.
• Maintain university partnerships; manageaffiliation agreements and monitor program KPIs.
• Oversee evaluation procedures, including midterm and final evaluations, and ensure timely documentation.
