Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services seeks a Sr. Director of Clinical Training to supervise and coordinate the Doctoral Psychology Training Program, ensuring APA accreditation and APPIC membership while advancing trainee retention strategies.

The role leads supervision of interns, practicum students, and post-doctoral residents, collaborates with universities, and develops curriculum for weekly colloquium to maintain high training quality.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology from an APA-accredited university.
• Licensed Psychologist with at least 5 years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years of supervising psychology interns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise psychology interns, practicum students, and post-doctoral residents.
• Coordinate and enhance the Psychology Internship Program.
• Develop curriculum for weekly psychology colloquium.
• Establish relationships with universities statewide and nationwide.
• Maintain APPIC membership and APA accreditation.
• Ensure high-quality training experience for students.
• Provide leadership on psychological testing initiatives with operations.
• Develop conferences and training events as needed.
• Explore establishment of a Psychology Post-Doctoral Residency.
• Expand professional training to rural sites.
• Additional duties as required.
