Vistra is seeking a Director International Tax Advisory to lead and expand our global tax advisory offering. Based in the US or the UK, you will deliver direct and indirect tax services, manage a global client base and collaborate with internal teams to provide integrated solutions.

You will mentor a high-performing team, drive business growth, and stay ahead of evolving international tax developments to mitigate risk and maximize value for clients.

Qualifications

• Significant international tax advisory experience.
• Experience advising on cross-border structuring and international tax matters.
• Strong client-relations and business-development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the international tax advisory strategy across direct and indirect tax.
• Lead and manage complex international tax advisory projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
• Manage client escalations and advisory scoping, ensuring timely, robust outcomes.
• Oversee governance, documentation and escalation to manage tax and reputational risk.
• Develop opportunities, prepare proposals and build client relationships.
• Lead, coach and develop tax advisory team members.
