Job summary

Vistra seeks a Director of International Tax Advisory to lead the delivery of global direct and indirect tax advisory services from the US or UK. This senior role reports to the President Vistra Global Services Americas and offers global coverage within a full-time, permanent framework.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver international tax advisory strategy across direct and indirect tax.
• Lead complex international tax advisory projects including cross-border structuring and reorganisations.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice on direct tax, VAT/GST and related cross-border issues.
• Manage client escalations, technical queries and advisory scoping to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee governance, documentation, and risk management for client and Vistra tax matters.
• Develop business opportunities, proposals, and strong client relationships.
