Job summary

CLA is seeking an experienced International Tax Services Manager/Director to join our ITS practice and lead cross-border tax engagements for clients nationwide. The role offers flexibility and may be based in any CLA office location.

You’ll mentor staff, drive business development, and manage complex international tax issues, including foreign tax credits, repatriation, and treaty analysis, while upholding CLA’s commitment to client service and professional excellence.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant international tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA certification is required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu).
• Deep knowledge of international and US tax laws.
• Strong engagement management and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on international tax matters and cross-border transactions.
• Research foreign tax credits, mergers & acquisitions, repatriation of earnings, treaty analysis and export incentives.
• Prepare and review the US international component of complex individual and corporate tax returns.
• Manage engagements and mentor staff within the ITS practice.
