Job summary

MERGE seeks a Director of Communications to own internal and corporate communications, guiding strategy from planning through execution. You will help leaders translate high-stakes changes into clear, human messaging and scale through AI while preserving the human voice.

You will manage channels, craft executive messages, and coach managers to communicate change effectively, aligning with MERGE’s mission to empower healthier, happier lives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in internal, corporate, or change communications, in fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in corporate communications and change management (M&A, platform migrations, operating shifts).
• Hands-on experience managing intranet, email, newsletters, and modern collaboration platforms.
• Superior writing and editing—translate complex information into clear, human messaging.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal communications strategy and cadence across the organization.
• Lead corporate and change communications from strategy to execution.
• Create and oversee compelling internal content—executive messaging, emails, intranet updates, newsletters, town halls.
• Monitor and report on communication performance with data-driven insights.
• Coach leaders and cross-functional partners on messaging during change.
• Collaborate across business units to align internal/external messaging with company goals.
