Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced internal communications leader to own the strategy for the Enterprise & Growth portfolio, spanning B2B, Revenue, Partnerships, Marketing, Enterprise Engineering, Ads, Commerce, and Consumer Verticals. You will partner with executives to clarify direction, explain decisions, and connect product and customer experiences to company-wide communications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in internal or executive communications, marketing communications, operations, or a related field with ownership of complex programs.
• People management experience (1-2 years minimum) is required.
• Experience advising senior leaders with discretion and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment with ability to explain strategy clearly.
• Curiosity about how businesses grow and how people use technology.
• Strong program leadership, ownership, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Set the communications strategy for Enterprise & Growth and lead programs from recommendation to execution and evaluation.
• Advise senior leaders and shape their communications, including updates and presentations.
• Guide communications through complex changes and collaborate with People, Legal, External Communications, and cross-functional partners.
• Lead company-wide storytelling to show product impact and learnings from user and customer experiences.
• Incorporate employee feedback from channels to inform communications and leadership messaging.
• Maintain momentum as priorities shift and drive constructive, collaborative decision-making.
• Strengthen the broader Internal Communications function with shared best practices.
