Job summary

Aviva Family and Children’s Services seeks a Director of the Interim Supportive Housing (DISH) Program to oversee Wallis House and the TLS program in Los Angeles. You will ensure residents receive services, supervise staff, and guide program development, budgeting, and compliance.

The role requires trauma-informed leadership, housing-first approaches, strong collaboration with partners, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in crisis-related or residential settings.
• Experience with LA Homeless Services Authority or similar agencies preferred.
• Valid CA driver's license; TB clearance and DOJ fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the program and direct overall management and operations.
• Oversee TLS program operations, staff supervision, documentation and compliance.
• Drive program development including case management, life skills and housing stability.
• Integrate trauma-informed care, housing first, and harm reduction into culture.
• Manage intakes/discharges, budgeting, audits and external partnerships.
