Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group in the United States is seeking a Life Science leader to drive integrated drug discovery programs within the IDD team, enabling global clients from biotech and pharma to advance discovery initiatives.

This senior role requires Mandarin and English fluency, strong collaboration across internal and external teams, and ability to travel as needed. The position is remote/work-from-home for Western US, with the opportunity to influence multiple programs and business development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 8+ years post-PhD experience in biotech/pharma.
• Expertise in Immunology or related field.
• Strong communication and matrixed org collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
• Travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated drug discovery programs and coordinate client, internal teams, and workflows.
• Generate integrated program proposals and support other project leaders.
• Support BD and marketing with scientific expertise and drug discovery experience.
• Manage key accounts as the main client contact for project management and relationships.
• Coordinate client inquiries through the Request Center and route to appropriate teams.
• Collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams and support internal initiatives.
