Wellabe in Des Moines, IA seeks a Director of Product Solutions to lead insurance product strategy from design to delivery. You’ll translate market trends, regulatory insights, and competitive dynamics into actionable plans that drive pricing, profitability, and customer value.

You will collaborate with actuarial, sales, compliance, and technology teams, coach managers, and oversee product initiatives across multiple brands, ensuring timely execution and measurable financial results.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of insurance product management principles.
• Knowledge of insurance products, market trends, regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to understand product performance, pricing and profitability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships across departments (Actuarial, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, Technology).
• Leadership or people management experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Medicare Supplement product experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and understand insurance products market to guide development and strategy.
• Identify main competitors and regulatory factors affecting products.
• Collaborate with Actuary to understand financial experience and ROI.
• Develop pricing strategies balancing objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and design market strategy based on enterprise objectives and market data.
• Coordinate product timelines and delivery across brands and teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams from planning through implementation.
• Manage direct/indirect reports, provide feedback and foster a positive environment.
