Job summary

Westfield seeks a State Product Management Analyst to support growth and profitability for assigned states and insurance product lines. The role analyzes trends to propose data-driven recommendations and collaborates with underwriting, sales, actuarial, marketing and other teams to ensure profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Product Research, Insurance industry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct and understand data analysis of business results to assess profitability and growth opportunities and identify root cause.
• Formulate and execute potential recommendations to drive growth and profitability based on established strategy with local nuances.
• Present, inform and influence product and pricing recommendations to business partners including underwriting and sales.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, and Sales during rate review to align pricing with profit strategies.
• Develops top and bottom-line forecasts and analyzes product performance against plans to identify divergence and suggest actions.
• Monitor effectiveness of initiatives, impacts to rate and pricing changes, and market trends, proposing courses of action.
• Demonstrate problem-solving to balance root cause with timely changes.
• Acquire market intelligence and knowledge of trends to compete effectively.
• Develop understanding of regulatory environments for assigned states/lines and ensure compliance.
