Responsibilities

• Manages financial statement close process from beginning to end.
• Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial reporting.
• Timely filing and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
• Manages internal controls surrounding the financial statement close process.
• Prepares and reviews journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyzes data, assesses risk, and identifies efficiency improvements.
• Responds to regulators, internal auditors, and external auditors.
• Assists with rate filings for each line of business.
• Assists with budget preparation and management.
• Manages direct and indirect reports.
• Performs statutory accounting research.
• Completes ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
