Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Director, Infrastructure Operations to lead the technology infrastructure that keeps our teams connected, secure, and productive as we prepare for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

You will own the office infrastructure environment, manage a five-person team, and partner with third-party providers while maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture across endpoints, networks, and cloud services. This role is onsite in Downtown Los Angeles and requires flexibility for events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise infrastructure operations, service delivery, and security.
• They have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Office 365, and Intune with strong identity management.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Mimecast; PAM/IAM in cloud security.
• Experience with Workspace ONE and ServiceNow for endpoint management and IT service delivery at scale.
• Strong ITIL-based service delivery and security framework experience, with measurable improvements.
• Onsite availability in Downtown Los Angeles.
• Ability to work in an open cubicle environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the office infrastructure: Entra, 365, Intune, Google Workspace, Slack, and other enterprise tech.
• Manage third-party network and endpoint providers to SLAs and improve service quality.
• Implement and maintain a strong cybersecurity stance, including DLP, PAM, and ADM support.
• Support breach and attack simulations and lead incident response across endpoints, servers, and cloud.
• Lead a team of five infrastructure engineers and analysts across endpoint, server, cloud security, asset management, and service desk.
• Evolve the role over time; may include operational duties during Olympic/Paralympic Games.
