Job summary

Crusoe is a GPU-cloud provider redefining AI infrastructure security. Lead a dedicated team of 5–6 infrastructure security engineers, shaping foundational security layers for our hyper-scale fleet.

You will own Platform Security Engineering and Infrastructure Security Access and Posture, reporting to the Senior Director of Security Engineering. You will drive transformational changes, raise engineering velocity, and implement least-privilege, zero-trust controls across both on-prem and cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading and scaling software engineering or security teams.
• Experience shipping core security platforms (Vault, SPIFFE/SPIRE, eBPF sensors).
• Deep architectural de-risking and Linux kernel security knowledge.
• Hands-on builder with prior IC/Manager experience and security-focused delivery.
• In-person / Hybrid presence in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Inherit, lead, and mentor an existing team of infrastructure security engineers.
• Drive engineering rigor, cadences, and architectural roadmaps for platform security.
• Hire and mentor junior talent to complement security and automation goals.
• Build and enforce zero-trust, JIT access across fleet nodes and core switches.
• Oversee IAM, PKI, and security posture across on-prem and cloud environments.
