Job summary

D-Riven Engineered Solutions is seeking a Director of Electrification & Power Distribution Engineering in Michigan. You will own mission-critical power projects from assessment and design through installation and commissioning, driving safety, quality, and schedule performance.

You will provide technical leadership to the Industrial Engineering – Electrification team, guide senior engineers, and ensure robust distribution designs with constructible plans while maintaining client expectations and

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read and create electrical drawings/schematics.
• Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
• Comfort operating aerial lifts and other powered equipment.
• Excellent communication across disciplines and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the Electrification team.
• Lead engineers and superintendents on survey strategy and plan execution.
• Evaluate existing electrical infrastructure for capacity and loading.
• Engineer solutions around downtime, install efficiency, and maintainability.
• Apply NEC and building codes to designs and site work.
• Generate material takeoffs and support procurement.
• Oversee installation quality of power distribution components.
• Coordinate with controls/low-voltage teams for integrated solutions.
