Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to lead safe, high-performing, and profitable operations across multiple regions and project portfolios in the heavy industrial electrical sector.

The role partners with executive leadership to set strategic goals, drive operational excellence, and oversee day-to-day performance in power delivery, Midstream, and energy infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industrial electrical, power delivery, or heavy industrial construction experience with leadership over geographic regions.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale electrical construction operations and project portfolios.
• Strong operational, financial, and strategic leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-project, multi-region electrical construction operations.
• Oversee safety, revenue, margin, and production goals across portfolios.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive profitability and client satisfaction.
• Manage hiring, coaching, performance, and succession planning for leaders.
• Provide executive oversight on complex, high-value electrical projects.
