Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to lead mission-critical electrical infrastructure delivery nationwide. You will partner with the VP and executive team to align safety, financial performance, and execution across regional operations.

This role drives profitability through lean processes, resource optimization, and high-performance teams, while shaping strategic goals and overseeing complex, high-risk projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of power utility, industrial, or electrical construction experience with leadership over geographic regions.
• Proven project management and operational leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead divisional operations to align with executive vision.
• Oversee multi-project, multi-region operations with safety, revenue, margin, and production goals.
• Support growth across industrial, energy, and mission-critical markets.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with Project Managers, Regional Managers, and General Managers.
• Provide executive-level oversight on complex or high-risk projects.
