Job summary

United Way of Massachusetts Bay in Boston seeks a Director, Individual Giving to direct the annual giving program, focusing on donors up to $10,000 annually. You will lead multi-channel campaigns, donor engagement, and stewardship initiatives while guiding a small team and partnering with Development and External Affairs to drive fundraising impact.

You will report to senior leadership, shape donor journeys, and collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive messaging and strong donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of fundraising or transferable experience in either the private or non-profit sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of United Way's annual giving program.
• Develop integrated fundraising strategies to increase donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades.
• Oversee annual fundraising calendars, campaigns, and performance metrics.
• Monitor giving performance using donor insights to refine strategies.
