Job summary

Ardagh Group seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement to lead the enterprise indirect spend portfolio, establishing the operating model and governance across operations, finance, IT, HR, and other functions. This leader will translate business priorities into a coordinated procurement roadmap and drive long-term supplier resilience and value creation.

The role emphasizes portfolio performance, organizational capability, and strong commercial terms with suppliers, supported by executive reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; ten years in procurement, sourcing, or commercial leadership with indirect spend.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and balance financial, operational and risk priorities.
Strong commercial acumen in supplier governance, contracting, and enterprise risk.
Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead enterprise indirect procurement strategy, roadmaps, and governance.
Coach and develop the indirect procurement team with clear accountabilities and development plans.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and others to shape demand and sourcing activity.
