Job summary

Ardagh Group seeks an experienced procurement professional to drive regional category management initiatives and supplier partnerships. You will collaborate with regional category managers to implement category strategies, manage RFXs, negotiations, and contract performance, aligning with sustainability and financial KPIs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional engagement with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Storeroom teams, driving P2P processes and value delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years in procurement, category management or supply chain.
• Experience delivering procurement initiatives addressing technical, financial and sustainability aspects.
• Track record delivering value from strategic frameworks with partners.
• Strong leadership with matrix management experience.
• Experience managing a geographically dispersed team.
• Able to work in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Support regional implementation of category strategies and initiatives.
• Lead regional supplier negotiations, tenders and contract management.
• Engage with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance and Storeroom functions.
• Drive supplier relationship management and cost optimization.
• Promote compliance with Ardagh policies and code of conduct.
• Provide real-time visibility on price and working capital within category.
