Job summary

Ardagh Glass Packaging seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement to lead enterprise strategies for indirect spend, partnering with operations, finance, and IT to align initiatives with business goals. This role drives savings, supplier governance, and category strategies across a multi-site organization.

You will guide a team, shape demand, and deliver measurable value while maintaining governance and risk controls in complex contracting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, operations, or related field.
• Ten years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial leadership for indirect spend.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise indirect procurement strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Lead, coach, and develop the indirect procurement team with clear accountability.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and other functions to shape demand and sourcing activity.
• Establish category strategies to aggregate demand across plants and improve terms.
• Oversee major sourcing events, negotiations, and contract governance.
• Deliver measurable value through savings, cost avoidance, and productive improvements.
• Maintain pipeline, forecasts, contracts, savings docs, and executive reporting.
• Lead supplier relationship management through reviews, scorecards, and improvements.
