Job summary

Samba in New York is seeking a Director of Independent Agencies to own this segment end to end. This player-coach role carries a revenue target, leads a growing team, and shapes Samba's market approach with independents.

You will close deals, hire and mentor agency sellers, and drive GTM strategy while expanding partnerships across Samba’s measurement, targeting, and attribution solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in advertising, digital media, adtech, or data analytics sales.
• Proven people leadership and team-building experience.
• Player-coach with ability to sell and develop others.
• Deep knowledge of independent agency landscape and buyers.
• Strategic, consultative approach with cross-screen measurement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue target for independent agencies and manage pipeline.
• Close deals while coaching and mentoring the sales team.
• Define go-to-market, segmentation, packaging, and pricing.
• Grow agency partnerships across Samba’s solutions.
• Track performance with forecast and Salesforce discipline.
• Represent Samba at industry events.
