Job summary

Child Development Schools is looking for a Director-in-Training to join a 3-month hands-on program, including a one-week onsite boot camp in Clayton, NC, with the possibility of a permanent School Director placement.

You will gain experience in hiring, budgeting, marketing, curriculum, and staff development while building strong relationships with families and colleagues in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training in hiring, team-building, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum.
• Lead recruitment, training, and support staff while keeping state compliance.
• Supervise and inspire your team, manage staffing schedules.
• Build connections with families and staff.
• Host tours for prospective families.
• Maintain school safety and cleanliness.
• Handle administrative tasks (billing, payroll, records) with precision.
• Contribute to classroom activities from cooking to cleaning to fun.
