CVS Health seeks a Lead Director, IMS Program Transformation to drive the multi-year strategy for transforming Infrastructure Managed Services into a focused ecosystem of specialists. This role oversees governance, transition planning, and workforce capabilities while maintaining service continuity and regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on measurable value delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years of vendor management, strategic sourcing, supplier governance, or large-scale managed service delivery.
• 10+ years leading complex technology service transformations within a large enterprise.
• 10+ years defining and managing outcome-based service agreements, performance measures, governance routines, financial commitments, and executive escalations.
• 7+ years understanding infrastructure and technology operations, including service management, risk, resilience.
• 7+ years influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• 7+ years building business cases using financial, operational, and service data to guide decisions.
• 7+ years with executive communication, negotiation, program leadership, problem-solving, and organizational change management.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year IMS Program Transformation strategy, roadmap, governance model, and execution plan with milestones and risks.
• Lead transition from broad MSPs to a focused ecosystem of specialist partners and outcome-based engagements.
• Assess IMS service towers, delivery performance, labor models, automation opportunities, and transition readiness.
• Define reusable principles and playbooks to extend the transformation model to other ISTS programs.
• Partner with Technology Performance Team to establish baselines, value cases, and benefits realization tracking.
• Align technology owners, engineering, architecture, finance, procurement, legal, risk, and governance teams.
• Develop and maintain a vendor and sourcing strategy evaluating providers by specialization, capability fit, and cost.
• Translate outcomes into scopes, SLAs, operating measures, and governance for partner engagements.
• Lead procurement, contracting, due diligence, and transition planning with CVS Health functions.
• Design governance with clear ownership, escalation paths, and disciplined performance management.
• Manage complex service transitions ensuring regulatory compliance, security, and continuity.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve resilience.
• Create executive communications detailing status, decisions, and risks.
• Establish change management and stakeholder engagement plans for new roles and processes.
• Build internal capabilities and succession plans to reduce external dependency.
