Stanford University School of Medicine seeks an experienced Director for the Center for Immersive and Simulation-Based Learning (CISL). You will lead standardized patient education, technology-based simulation, and immersive learning programs to support the school’s educational mission.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Medical Education Programs, you will guide strategic and operational initiatives, expand simulation-based education, advance AI and XR projects, and foster collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in health professions education, health care simulation or immersive learning.
• Progressively responsible leadership in healthcare simulation or immersive learning.
• Expertise in program design, pedagogy, evaluation and accreditation considerations.
• Experience leading educational technology and AI/XR innovation.
• Record of cross-institutional partnerships and securing funding.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic planning for complex university programs with business, regulatory and technical challenges.
• Serve as SME for policies and regulations; resolve issues across boundaries.
• Represent the program to university and external stakeholders.
• Direct outreach strategy including relationships, communications and compliance.
• Oversee staff development and program operations.
• Oversee budgets and financial planning.
