Job summary

ResCare Community Living, part of Sevita, is seeking a Program Director, IDD Services to lead day-to-day operations for 1–4 community programs and oversee direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise program staff, manage recruiting and training, handle staffing and scheduling, and ensure services are engaging and aligned with residents’ goals. On-call coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication to manage relationships.
• Compassionate, reliable, and responsible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for 1–4 programs, including planning, staffing, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead program staff, conduct evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
• Ensure services are delivered consistently, engaging, and aligned with individuals’ goals.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
