Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth in the Intelligence Community portfolio from its Northern Virginia base. You will lead customer engagement, pipeline development, capture activities, and proposals, coordinating with engineering, legal, and finance to win new contracts.

You will create strategies, mentor teams, and serve as a voice for the customer while managing opportunities through the full lifecycle, including leading responses to RFIs and ensuring

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace/defense with 5+ years in Business Development.
• Experience working with USG captures and leading proposals.
• Demonstrated success capturing space business within the IC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to travel up to 25% of time.
• Active TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive near term and long term growth for Muon Space in IC.
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts.
• Provide thought leadership in development of strategy for target organizations.
• Identify new opportunities and lead capture through pipeline stages.
• Create, maintain and implement customer engagement plans.
• Lead proposals and RFI responses; develop win themes and Price to Win with engineering input.
• Collaborate with BD and engineering on opportunities.
• Provide input from Customers into the product technology roadmap.
• Work with Legal and Finance on opportunities.
• All other duties as assigned.
