Job summary

North Central College seeks an Associate Vice President for Information & Technology to lead infrastructure strategy, operations, and security. The role encompasses network, data center, cloud, identity, and telephony services, ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency in support of teaching, research and administration.

You will guide a high‑performing IT team, collaborate with security and enterprise applications, and contribute to the college’s digital roadmap and transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in IT, Engineering, MBA, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for infrastructure strategy, cloud and on‑premises services.
• Oversee operations, DR/BC planning, and service management for critical infrastructure.
• Lead security controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance for infrastructure.
