Job summary

St. Charles Community College seeks a Director of Network Operations to lead the institution's server and network infrastructure. This role oversees security, performance, lifecycle management, and scalable services, while guiding executives on risks, investments, and technology roadmaps.

The successful candidate will manage staff, coordinate system implementations, and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity across critical services in support of campus operations and priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network, server, storage, identity, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Experience leading technical teams responsible for network operations and infrastructure support.
• Experience with capacity planning, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle replacement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the administration and security of network, server, storage, and related infrastructure services.
• Lead and develop infrastructure staff through performance management and mentorship.
• Set infrastructure standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Develop metrics, SLAs, and KPIs; monitor and improve infrastructure performance.
