Job summary
CT State Community College is seeking a Campus Director of Information Technology to provide technology leadership across a campus, coordinating with AVP of Technology Operations and campus IT teams. The role drives enterprise shared services, administers budget, and ensures effective implementation of IT solutions for teaching and learning.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a tech field, 3+ years supervising staff, and strong ITSM knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of experience in computer systems, networks and software design, development and implementation and supervisory experience.
- Preferred Master’s degree and experience supervising technology projects.
- Experience in higher education IT operations and managing campus IT services is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead campus IT service operations and staff.
- Collaborate with enterprise IT to align services with campus needs.
- Develop and manage the campus IT budget and capital plans.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity for campus systems.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for workstations, networks, and applications.
