Job summary

MCCCD seeks an Associate CIO for Digital Infrastructure Technologies to lead enterprise infrastructure, including networking, data centers, cloud, identity, and collaboration services. You will drive modernization, ensure security compliance, and align technology with district priorities to support teaching, learning, and operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus four years of progressively responsible leadership, including at least two years supervising staff.
• Equivalency may be considered; minimum two years of supervisory experience required.
• One year of MCCCD experience in the previous two years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of district digital infrastructure.
• Develop modernization strategies to improve scalability, resiliency, and performance.
• Set enterprise standards, roadmaps, and architecture for secure, reliable services.
• Direct ITSM adoption and automation to improve service delivery and maturity.
• Provide executive leadership for infrastructure teams and cross‑college collaboration.
• Govern and oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and contracting for infrastructure.
