Description
Planit is a full-service, independent advertising agency based in Baltimore. We’re home to more than 85 strategists, creatives, account leaders, media experts, developers, PR professionals, producers, and problem solvers.
Our culture is built around four values: Goodness, Collaboration, Remarkability, and Grit. Our people are central to our success, and we’re looking for an HR leader who can help us strengthen both our culture and our business.
Planit’s Director of Human Resources is a visible leader, trusted advisor, culture champion, and advocate for both our people and the agency. As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with ownership, managers, and employees across Planit. You’ll help shape our people strategy, strengthen our managers, attract and retain great talent, and make sure our HR practices support a healthy, high-performing organization.
We’re looking for someone who understands that taking care of our people and the business go hand in hand. The right HR leader can balance both, advocate for what is fair and right, and make thoughtful decisions that support our people and the long-term health of Planit.
Requirements
Planit is an office-first hybrid workplace. We work together in our Baltimore office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remotely Monday and Friday. For this leadership role, visibility, accessibility, and active participation in agency life are important. We are looking for someone who wants to be present, connected, and engaged with the people they support.

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; at times repeatedly in a week during video shoots at a variety of work locations. We’re looking for an HR leader who loves the company enough to advocate for it and understands its people well enough to advocate for them. Someone employees trust, managers rely on, and senior leaders respect. Someone with the confidence to take a position, the judgment to know when to push back, and the emotional intelligence to navigate difficult situations without losing sight of either the person or the business.
If that sounds like the kind of HR leadership you believe in, we’d like to meet you.
